Should a woman kneel to her husband?

All modern feminism or pop-culture aside, if you choose to have a relationship according to scripture (the bible) where it says the husband will "rule over" the wife, or a woman should submit themselves to male leadership because he is the "head of woman" as Christ is the "head of man," women being the "glory of man," and man being the "glory of God." Peter explained that Sarah called Abraham "Lord." SO in this kind of relationship, thinking outside of the modern feminist mindset, is it right for a woman to kneel to a providing, "respectful" husband?

NO, any man that had to have his wife bow or kneel to him would not be anyone I would want as a husband.

My husband would never want such a thing or to even have men bow to him. Those kind of men are power hungry dictators who everyone hates.

It was said, "anyone who required anyone to bow to them was the most hated of all men."

You could not love a man like that.

Yes as the bible shows throughout and as paul said,- woman was made for man and must be in subjection to him.

Hubby doesn't even try to 'rule over' me, he is wise beyond that!

It is not that he lacks the power, but he is way too smart to try to exert it that way.

There is no need for one spouse to 'rule' over the other in an equal relationship..

If there is, it makes it kind of obvious that you have the wrong spouse.

As for bowing, I bow to lots of people, and lots of people bow to me. Part of the martial art tradition, like shaking hands. I have had christians refuse to train with me because I teach in a traditional manner, and we bow in the dojo, as a form of showing respect.

That is a much different thing than to "kneel before him".

That would certainly lower the Christian divorce rate, which last time I checked was over 50%. However, it would probably raise the rate of domestic homicides.

"SO in this kind of relationship, thinking outside of the modern feminist mindset, is it right for a woman to kneel to a providing, "respectful" husband?"

By "this kind of relationship", you are specifically referring to one in which the parameters of the relationship are defined on the basis of the imagined desires of a supernatural being?

I don't know that I can apply a "should" to this situation.

l question should be " should a christian man close the curtains when he beats his wife?" funny how every question about women submitting to men are from men. so, do you close the curtains? why must you perpetrate the myth that abuse of women is ok?

Yes. President Obama is leader of this country but you don't see anyone groveling at his feet begging to do his bidding (excluding a majority of the white guilt ridden liberals). Being a follower isn't a bad thing, IDK where these people get this idea.

You can distort the bible into whatever you wish but once God judges you there won't be any misunderstanding.
