tips on painting windows?
I'm going to volunteer at the library to paint on the outside windows for each month and I need tips. What kind of paints should I use? how would I take it off? what kind of paint brushes? I would like to try stenciling but I don't want to pay a lot for it, would thin cardboard work if I use and exacto knife? How do I start with painting it? I've never had a window as a canvas so if you have any other tips for me it would help a lot.

Use acrylic paint, it should just peel back off. Be sure to plan your design out in advance and paint the forward color first and then layer the other colors over the top of them as you work your way back. If you are using a stencil it will have to be something flat you can put on the glass, any gaps could result in runs.
