How do I stop being negative?

I keep failing at everything I do, I have bad grades even though I'm studying and when I put an effort in what I do so I'm getting more lazy and very tired now, I have no answer of how to get back, I don't know what to do, i'm getting stressed, we have no money for tutors, I really hate school.

Sit quietly and think back to when you first became aware of feeling this way, what was the trigger? Identifying the cause will better help you understand what is happening to you internally. Write down your thoughts and feelings, see if any patterns emerge. Also, write down three positive aspects of your life and focus on them each day. Pay attention to what you have in your life as opposed to what you perceive as missing. Look at your overall lifestyle (television/computer habits, eating habits, relationships, sleeping patterns) because this could be having an impact on your studies, make the conscious decision to change something/anything just so you can begin to feel better about yourself.

Talk with a school counsellor and/or your teachers because it is important they know what is happening with you and can provide you with guidance. Would be good for your parents to be aware of how you are feeling so sit down with them face to face and tell what's what with you. Reaching out for support will help you not feel so alone.

Think about what you want to achieve, be honest and be realistic, and set about making it happen. Start small and do not expect too much too soon, be patient and pace yourself. Remember, what you project out into the world is returned so if you are thinking negativity and you are judging yourself/being hard on yourself, then that will be what comes back to you. You have to believe in you before anyone else can.

Ultimately, this comes down to choice and how you decide you want to live your life. You can remain stuck in the misery you feel or you can allow yourself to adjust your outlook and step into amazing new opportunities and possibilities. Do not go it alone, be strong, share and be open to what might come next.

    My super awesome guesses....

1). Your gunna get pissed off with all i below...maybe not the conclusion.

    2).your a teenager

3).you are common. You listen to emotions.. Nothing wrong with that, it's often better.

4). You have never experienced something truly bad or depressing.

I'm sorry, but this is common and you are not being negative, your just looking at the negative stuff, life is great. Things can only go wrong if you think they will, your life is oretty good, and trust me.. You are not stupid.. Your just not forfilling your expected potential right now and you think that's bad, you get lower than a c that's bad.. I'm sure your not. Appreciate life, it's the longest thing you'll do... So learn to love it, people deal with a lot of **** in there lives, it's just depends on how you deal with it that separates people..don't be so negative around people.. It makes them kinda get annoyed and bored with you and stop talking to you and then you will get even more depressed

Source(s): My motto: deal with problems by your self, if it's a massive problem and your someone who can't do that, talk to a professional. Don't mope around. Iife is as bad as you make it out to be.

We're all good at different things. Just do your best and give yourself credit for that cause you can only do your best. Ask a parent or sibling or classmate for help maybe too. Do things you're good at and enjoy too. Life happens whether its going well or not, but you'd might as well enjoy it as much as you can and don't be too hard on yourself.
