Liquid Stool After A Workout?

GRAPHIC

I've had a cold the past week (same symptoms as the common cold) and it seems to be passing soon.

Today I was lifting weights - squats, and leg presses, and I had to use the restroom. I ended up evacuating my bowels of pure liquid - nothing solid. I came home and the same thing happened about 30mins later. Three hours later, I ended up having the same problem after dinner.

Could this just be the cold? Or maybe the work out? I've been working out for a few years now and today I did a bit more weight than usual, could that be it?

I had an omelette with milk (not expired - I checked when I got home), and I'm not lactose intolerant. Will this pass? I don't plan on seeing the doctor unless this persists.

One of the viruses that causes colds, adenovirus, also causes viral gastroenteritis. When people swallow mucus during a cold, they run the risk of active viruses reaching the GI tract. Now colds are generally caused by more than one virus and if one of them happened to be adenovirus, it's possible this is what's causing the problem. It will pass, monitor it.
