What do you call a shed that you put animals in?

If I build a shed like building and put all of my animals in it, and make it luxurious for them, what is that called?

It really depends on what you personally want to call it.

These structure's names are sometimes based off of what animals live there, however. For instance:

    * A place where livestock and other large animals stay is often known as a "Barn" or a "Stable."

    * A place where small animals (Rodents, Reptiles, etc.) dwell is sometimes called a "Shed", or simply a "Pet Room."

    * A place where primarily birds are kept is known as an "Aviary." If they are poultry birds, however, it is usually referred to as a "Coop."

    * A place where dogs and/or cats live is called a "Kennel."
