having two home pages?

my wife and I share a desk top computer using windows 7 and internet explorer 11. we would like to use two home pages. right now my wife's home page is the "set" home page. when I have her home page on one tab and my preferred home page on a second tab, and the second tab the active tab I right click on the home page icon. one of the options it offers is "add this webpage to your home page tabs". I click on the radio button and then click on "yes". but when I shutdown and restart the computer I still only have my wife's home page

what do I have to do to have internet explorer show two home page tabs when it first loads the software?

Just go to Tools > Internet options. In that box, just paste the two urls you want into it and click OK. No need to click anything else. Close and reopen IE and your two tabs will appear.

Instead of having two homepages open up at the same time, you might want to create two separate Windows user accounts. This allows you to separate all of your files, settings and stuff. You can do this in Control Panel. Under User Accounts and Family Safety, click Add or Remove User Accounts. If you do this, each of you can have your own separate home page when you're logged in.
