Would it be weird to call a restaurant and leave your number for a hot waiter?
So I was out at a restaurant tonight with my bestie, and thus waiter caught my eye. He didn't wait on us, I just saw him on my way back from the restroom. He was really attractive and I feel drawn to him, but he was engulfed in serving his customers so I didn't get to talk to him or notice his name. I would just go back and try to get seated in his section, but the restaurant is over 50 miles away. So, would it be completely crazy to call the place, just say "Hey, I ate at your place last night, and noticed this waiter," describe him, and if whoever I'm talking to knows who I'm talking about, ask them to give him my number?

Sure we all meet "hot" people in our lives, wether with eye contact or talking to them, but that doesn't mean they will date you right away or even at all. Since you never even talked to him, I don't see why you should even call the restaurant, it would be creepy for the waiter. If someone left you a message saying to call a number you don't know, wouldn't you feel creeped out or worried? Honestly just let the guys come to you or go for someone that you can get to know.

Well, I would say... yes. And I think I have been in your situation before. BUT, if you really felt attracted to him, its probably worth it; if you have guts, go for it! Carefully word what you might say, and don't make it sound too desperate. If you do call them, give your number, and he calls you, make sure you have something to say. Putting all of this aside, there are still many things you don't know about him. He might already be taken, you can't be sure. If you ever get time to visit that restaurant again, however, come early and make sure you strike up some conversation! The best of luck!

In my personal opinion, that's a little desperate. I doubt his coworkers will go out of their way to do a favor and give him your number to this waiter. It's a work environment and this waiter has no idea who you are or how you look. I doubt if they do give him your # that he would actually call. Trust me, cuter guys will come later in life. You'll come across them like no other. Don't be desperate for just one guy. I actually wanted to laugh when I read this question but I'm sorry, I'm in no mean to make fun of you. Just my advice to you is to not do it. Plus 50 miles sounds too far anyway!

You could be leaving yourself open to embarrassment. The man may be married or in a relationship. You need to know more about him
IF this is so important, go to the restaurant and see for yourself if he even takes any notice of you.
Dont cheapen yourself whatever you do.

Desperado Debbie...do NOT embarrass yourself or your family name by doing this.
