The only thing I can suggest is call around and ask. Or try looking on Angie's List. Vets in larger cities are going to charge more too. Maybe try finding a vet in a smaller city nearby. Often times you can find reviews for businesses when you google them(yellow pages, yelp, etc.). That should let you know what other people think of them. Just remembered, try looking up local spay/neuter clinics. If you make under a certain amount of money, you can get the operation done at a discount.
