Basically, in November, after the Ukrainian president rejected a trade agreement with the EU, several protests began in the country's capital, Kiev.

    These were mostly student protests.

They were beaten by the police straight away and sent home, yet the fact they beat students angered many people and began the overall, bigger protests against both the trade agreement, the police brutality, and the president as a whole because he is widely disliked.

They have lasted until mid December looking like normal, non-violent protests, until the Ukrainian president passed a moronic bill giving everyone who was involved in protests a 15 year jail sentence. This has meant that over one million protesters were stuck in the capital, with nowhere to run, with the police approaching them to arrest them and give them 15 years.

This has quickly lead to the protesters resisting police arrest by violent means, i.e. rock throwing and molotov cocktails. Since december they have been battling the police trying to escape the sentence.

Since most of the protesters came from Western Ukraine, the bill was a problem for them. Since the government would not back down and cancel the bill, those people in Western Ukraine did what they could only do next, and went and overthrew the local governors in Western Ukraine- and now 35 cities in total overthrew their administration.

Now however whats happening in Ukraine is a battle of survival for over one million protesters who can only win a cancellation of the sentence by overthrowing the government, and that's what they are trying to do.

The president could end the bloodshed by cancelling the law, but he is too stubborn and moronic for that.

So at the moment Ukraine is a battlefield of people who engaged in peaceful, legal protests fighting back the police who will give them a 15 year sentence.

The CIA is up to its dirty tricks again, trying to split Ukraine from Russia and move it into alignment with Western Europe (EU).
