Sinclair c5 problems?

Just bought a very clean totally standard c5

When I power up my c5 with a new charged battery the left side of the led dash lights up, but the right doesn't. When I click the micro switch on the handle bars 12v is sent to the motor but it doesn't run. (Carbons)

Also. Please could you tell me where the horn switch is and the light switch.

Hi Dr Bearface - not really, I just want to fix it, mint it, ride it once or twice or until I get bored its not fast enough and sell it its just something to do whist my new garage gets built (i'm not allowed car or bike parts in the house)

    Google finds instruction and repair manuals for the C5

    Horn and indicators were optional extras, you may not have them (see p34)

    motor has a thermal overload which may need resetting.

    I'd suggest you take it to a reputable auto electrician.

    Hi so are you really thinking of using this thing on the highway. as it is so low you could so easily be killed in it.
