Roku 3 Compatibility?

Hello, I'm interested in buying a Roku system. Like the one listed here (sold out): http://www.woot.com/offers/roku-3-streaming-media-...

Anyways, I was wondering what the compatibility of the Roku 3 is on Standard or Projection TVs (4:3)?

Like would it display and also can it connect to RWY RCA connectors?

Thanks.

You have to use an HDMI connection with the Roku 3 for older systems you would be better off with a Roku 1 Roku 1 has component connections so your TV or projector would still have to have component but HDMI is only going to be available on modern HD equipment....for 702P or 1080P output.....

Have a Roku3 and love it.Setting up Roku is as easy as 1-2-3:

    1. Plug it in. Roku is compatible with virtually any TV

    2. Add it to your home network. Whether your home is wireless or wired, the helpful on-screen instructions make it a cinch.

    3. Enjoy! Choose your entertainment, and control it with the handy remote

    What you need:

To use Roku, you need a high speed Internet connection with a speed of at least 1.2 Mbps (such as mid-level DSL). For HD video, we recommend 5 Mbps (if you’re not sure what your speed is, go to www.speedtest.net and run the simple test). Note that not all content partners enable HD or 1080p streaming video. You may also need a wireless or wired router if you cannot connect Roku directly to your cable or DSL modem

    Networking:

Wireless: 802.11 dual-band (a/b/g/n compatible) with WEP, WPA, and WPA2 support

Wi-Fi Direct for Enhanced Motion-Control Remote (included)

    Ethernet: 10/100 Base-T Ethernet

    1080p

    Audio Output:

Digital over HDMI (7.1 and 5.1 surround pass through)

microSD card slot for additional game and channel storage (Max Size: 16GB) (card not included)

USB 2.0 port for playback of MP4 (H.264), MKV (H.264), AAC, MP3, JPG and PNG files

    Remote Control:

Roku 3 Enhanced Remote with Headphone Jack and Motion-Control (uses Wi-Fi Direct)

Streaming player includes IR receiver (compatible with various universal remotes)

    Size:

    3.5" (L) x 3.5" (W) x 1" (H)
