Which motor to replace the Caddy 4.1?

Hello, im looking into getting an '84 DeVille off the hands of a neighbor, but it has that notorious 4.1 motor. Although she runs silky smooth and looks/drives even better, what motor of the three: 305, 307, 350 can i throw in there and "plug and play", minimizing any mods for fitment, thnx!

It's not only emissions testing, it's the computer. The computer and wiring harness won't work with any other engine.

If you have emissions testing, then you are really limited. A change of engine should mean a change of computer, engine management.
