Law of Sines help with someone with calculator?

So I have to do this stupid online lecture and she said to download and Texas instruments TI-84 or something like that calculator and I can't download it.

The problem she gave us to do says:

Verify if angleP=62.2°, angle Q=84.3°, angle R = 33.5°

p=8, q=9, r=5

Pick you own values for each of the 6 unknowns. Ddoes it still work? Why or Why not?

Sorry I can't show a picture but if it helps the triangle LOOKS like an iscosceles triangle with R on top angle, P on the bottom left angle, Q on the bottom right angle, r on the bottom side, q on the left side, and p and the right side.

This would really help me. If you have a question please tell me to edit. Thanks:)

    I'm guessing you mean a scalene triangle, since your have three different side lengths (unless the picture doesn't match the problem).

    Anyway, the law of sines is:

    a/sin(A) = b/sin(B) = c/sin(C)

    where a, b, and c are side lengths, and A, B, and C are the angles opposite to those sides.

    So all you really have to do is show that 8/sin(62.2°) = 9/sin(84.3°) = 5/sin(33.5°) is true. (In actuality, if you compute each term, you'll get values close to 9.04, but they won't be exactly the same. Most likely the angles were just rounded, so you should just treat them as equal.)

    For the second part, choose your own 6 values for p, q, r, P, Q, and R, and then use the law of sines again to see if they're all equal.

    im sorry but i dont completely understand but ill do my best, law of sines works for any triangle, so if you are only allowed to change one side it would only still work if the value you picked is the same as the value given, you cannot change a side length or angle in a triangle without changing something else as well
