Can I download windows 7 over xp?
I seem to be having a few problems with XP, like utorrents will not let me download anything, I will not be able to update windows after April this year, so I think I will have to get windows 7 or 8.

You'll need to determine if your computer can even run Windows 7. Microsoft has a free application on their site called the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor. Download and run it. It will scan your hardware and let you know if it will run Windows 7. If not, it will let you know which components are the problem, so you may be able to take care of it with a cheap hardware upgrade.

Yes, but you will have to reinstall completely - you cannot upgrade XP to 7 or 8. You will have to back up all your files and have your installation discs/downloads to reinstall any programs after Win 7 or 8 is installed.
