It's irrelevant since hockey is Canadian and only hockey played by Canadians in Canada is real hockey.
That's no different than how baseball played in Japan isn't really, truly baseball because it's not played by Americans in America.

It is because Japan treats America like god but treats Korea and China like s h I t. You should search everything and the ongoing disputes.
