curtis woodhouse won the british title last night and £250,000?
not sure how true it is but i read that he bet £5,000 on himself to win a british title when he turned pro @ 50-1 ,not a bad little bonus no wonder he's retiring

Great for Curtis. Very emotional scenes when he dedicated the win to his late father. He said he promised his dad he'd win a British title and his dad never broke a promise to him so he wanted to keep his promise to his dad.
Great fight, great win for Curtis, and great to see the look on Eddie Hearn's face when his fighter didn't get the decision.

Yeah its true bro, I watched the fight live on Sky Sports and in his post fight interview he confirmed it and shouted the drinks are on him lol
Not sure if he did enough to win it myself but I don't grudge him the victory
