a mate sent me this trailer about the the fitzroy lodge ABC , i can't wait to see it as i boxed there myself and the head trainer was my sparring partner and mate ,it funny looking back as all the trainers there now were the bad boys of 25 years ago and now they are the guys that try to stop kids from stabbing each other ,it just shows even the nuttiest young man can out well with some guidance .

BQ .. holyfield started @175 not much bigger than froch lets say froch was a little bigger and holyfield a little smaller who would of won ... i think evander is at another level of skill compared with froch but what a fight it would of been .

i was thinking that all the top p4p fighters are in the 30's with only really canello under 25 , many fighters now are still novices @30 instead of retiring at that age . so will we ever see teenage world champions again , i think ray leonard was 23 when he fought hearns that would never happen now or tyson becoming the heavy weight champ 18 months after turning pro...

i was talking to a guy at work(uk) and he's part of an american church were he has to pay 10%of his wages to the church ,he can't afford it but does it because his pastor says he has to ,he gets the bus to work while his pastor drives a new mercedes . to me this is terrible didn't jesus throw the money lenders out ...i thought the churcg was there to help not take money from the poor to pay for a new ride for the pastor

take someone like michael nunn not one of the great middle weights but he would still be a tough fight for say hagler ,no one likes to fight a tall slick southpaw ,a fight that happened X3 was ali norton who beat ali yet no one comparing there records would of picked norton but his style was a nightmare for ali. there's others but i don't want to answer my own question .

if i was manny i would want to fight cotto not so much the man rather him being the linear middle weight champion ,i'd do it @160 with no catch weights as cotto isn't a middle weight anymore than manny is and the extra weight will start to slow cotto down . winning the linear middle weight belt would move pac man up the all time list when people look back in 30 years time .

i think it would be a great fight (forgetting they have the same trainer ) with cotto looking very strong vs martinez .

I'm in Costa Rica at the moment and I'm crossing into panama in a few days so I'm going to try and track down Duran. i doubt I'd find him but I'll try....who knows i might get to shake the hands of stone..
