i was just wondering if heaven was meant to be a place were we are in our bodies with seas and mountains that can be called real or is it a place were our souls go but we aren't physically there

    Heaven is a fictional place.

Seems like I'm one of the only Christians actually answering this question. Hate me if you want. But no. Heaven is not a physical place. It's a spiritual place. If you have faith in The Lord Jesus, you are allowed into heaven. Just as if you don't, you are sent to hell. Which is also a spiritual place.

Jesus is physically there so it is real in that sense but physically more real than the earthly sense of physical

All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.

There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another

So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne

1 corthians 15:50 says flesh and blood cannot inherit God's kingdom. So I think it is a spiritual place not physical

All the major faiths refer to us the children as being fallen/blind/dead/asleep, or what the Hindu's refer to as being in a state of Avidya/Ignorance. (The shackles of which can only be released by the grace of God)

The eye of literal sight and logical brain may ratiocinate heaven to be a place where we all live happily ever after. (Somewhere above the clouds perhaps) A sin free place of happiness and eternal love, yet the major faiths refer to this as a realm of being - An awaking, a realization of a perhaps forgotten existence/vision. (Spirituality)

In Hinuism - Sat Chit Ananda – is Truth Consciousness Bliss (Moksha - Liberation)

Christianity – Heaven (One with Christ)

In the Zohar, the greatest kabbalistic work, the Torah is interpreted in reference to the Sefirot - They are Keter (Crown) proximity to the divine super-conscious of the soul.

1 Beyond etc. -beyond the relative world which is a mixture of existence and non-existence. The world is said to be existent as it is perceived in ordinary consciousness, but to be non-existent as it is lost in super-consciousness. Knowing the nature of the world, the man of Knowledge is quite unconcerned with it. ASTAVAKRA SAMHITA – Chapter XVIII – P138

Is it spiritual, not physical, at least not yet......everything begins in the spirit world FIRST. Heaven is right now a spiritual place, but will eventually become a physical one when Christ establishes His kingdom on earth.

You realize all people know about heaven is what they have been told---by living people. It's not something anyone really knows about, it's a hope and belief.

I believe heaven is a spiritual realm not a physical place.

If it doesn't have mass and matter--then the concept of hell has no mass and matter either. In that case getting thrown into a lake of fire or having the meat torn from you--is a hollow threat as you need a body (mass) for that to be an effective punishment.

So--one would suspect heaven is three streets up from Never Never Land and then hang a left at the Hogwarts castle.

How are we supposed to know if it's a physical place? We're here on earth. There is seriously no way for me to have an answer to your question right now.

Maybe get some of the scientist studying dark matter to state that they believe they have positive proof that "heaven" is the source of dark matter.
