My ears are ringing from a massive headcold, should I go to a movie theater today?
Will my hearing or ringing get worse from doing this?

Try this if you can...sometimes motion can help your ringing ears, so have someone take you for a drive. A less favorable option would be to take a ride on some sort of bus or train.
An even better solution is if you can change your elevation...1000 feet might help but 2000 feet would be better. So if you can get someone to take you for a drive into mountains...?
Source(s): I live in the rural foothills of the Cascade Mountains, where a casual drive into the mountains is not so inconceivable. - DeeDeeLv 77 years ago
If you are sensitive to loud noise from action films that contain explosions, etc., then your hearing may be affected. That's my only thought. Too, a head cold may actually help to muffle the movie's volume if your ears already feel plugged.
