Help with getting a certain puppy?

My family has decided to get a puppy. We've been looking around researching different breeds, and of course, have come across a dog we want that seems on the surface as hard to get...The Siberian Indian Dog. There seems to be only a few available and they're very expensive...but i'm not sure if i'm looking at the right places. Can anyone help me out...we're in New Jersey...even suggestions on how to contact someone would help...thanks.

This isn't a real breed, it is just a cross. Actually it is a cross between a Siberian Husky and an American Indian Dog which is not a recognized breed registered with any official kennel club. As such there is no way to determine what the dog will look or act like. Reputable breeders do not breed crosses. If you want a mixed breed please save yourself a lot of money and adopt from the shelter.

Go to the SPCA and ask if they have any husky mutts.

It is a very bad idea to shell out a lot of money for a mutt, just because somebody puts a fancy name on it. It's still a mutt.

Since huskies aren't hypoallergenic it is not possible to predict whether a husky cross will be hypoallergenic. Huskies are famous for shedding a lot, so I would think this mix will be shed a lot too.

Unless your family is seriously into exercise this isn't a dog for couch potatoes or even for apartments. Keep this in mind.

I just wish people could make these questions harder..

    This is so easy.

The only breeder for that breed is listed below.

they are in California. There are ground transports that can help you with getting her to NJ. or if breeder allows she can be flown. to NJ.

Or you could also take a major trip to California to get the dog.

The link below is to there website. Enjoy. and good luck with your new puppy

They are gorgeous dogs. This site may help some. I would call the shelter and ask them to describe her/ his personality, temperament and training. I think they are lovely dogs.
