Christians are there any alternative methods to convert people?

we are supposed to lead by example. A very wise old Christian once said, "We should preach always, but use words only if necessary."

We are supposed to be showing others how to love unconditionally.

We are not supposed to be threatening people and thumping bibles.

God gave each person free will to believe or not to believe. If that's ok with God, I don't see why its a problem for other people.

Ignorance is certainly not going to attract anyone, and neither are bigotry, or threats of damnation.

There is only one way. You must be drawn through your pride by the Holy Spirit and your choice to admit not only that sin exists, but that you are personally powerless against it. You can then accept Jesus' payment for your sins.

And then, in realization of the wonderful grace you have been given, Jesus asks us to share this Good News with as many others as will hear us or as we are willing witnesses to His mercy and grace.

Sometimes people don't want to ponder this stuff until they are forced into it, facing literal life or death. Others, just thinking hard about their own mortality will give rise to spiritual openness.

Keep in mind, though, that this method is recommended for more advanced believers, who don't mind people backing slowly away in terror.

Where do these odd ball questions come from? Muslims convert people, but Jesus Christ is a personal choice. We aren't going to come to you and say, "Believe in Jesus or we'll keeel you" like a Jeff Dunham puppet.

We know that Luke 14:33 is hard to accomplish and it's meant for the big boys. So we could care less if you come to the family of believers or not. Christianity isn't meant for self serving, self seeking goof balls.

I'm pretty suer that over the centuries, christianity has tried all the methods available, including tying conversion to food and medicine and the ever popular "convert or die!"

Other traditional methods are:-

Torture until convinced.

Economic sanction until convinced.

Kill if in doubt.

These are still quite popular today.
