How do I enter synthetic division functions in WolframAlpha?

I found this page on the subject, but it doesn't actually say how I can write it for Wolfram Alpha.

http://mathworld.wolfram.com/SyntheticDi...

Here is my problem that I'd like to know how to enter:

Use synthetic division and the remainder theorem to find the indicated function value.

f(x)=3x^3 - 4x^2 - 3x + 1; f(-2)

I've tried everything I can think of. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    (3*x^3-4*x^2 -3*x+1)/(x+2)

Scroll down to the quotient and remainder section of the page for your answer.
