Y=a(x-x1)(x-x2)
Y=a(x+1)(x-7)
7=a(0+1)(0-7)
7=-7a
a=-1
Jadi, Persamaan grafik fungsi kuadrat tersebut adalah?
Y= a (x+1) (x-7)
=-1(x² - 6x - 7)
= -x² + 6x + 7

akar-akarnaya -1 dan 7,
f(x) = p(x+1)(x-7) = p(x^2 - 6x - 7)
melalui titik (0,7), artinya pada x = 0, f(x) = 7
substitusi ke pers. di atas,
p(0 - 0 - 7) = 7
p = 7/(-7) = -1
maka persamaan kuadratnya adalah
f(x) = -1(x^2 - 6x - 7) = -x^2 + 6x + 7
