Do atheists hate leprechauns? Is that why they don't believe in them?

To hide or ignore something is not that easy. By chance, if at all they have made any mistake they should not sweep under the carpet all their faith, trust and beliefs. I mean let them not try to sweep it under the carpet.

I and other atheist have answered this. I do not hate God no more than I hate flying purple alligators.

The closest thing to hatred of God some atheists have is the hatred of the idea of God. Many may also hate some people who believe in God because they spread myths many consider lies. To think that we hate an imaginary being is absurd.

Funny when people who are not atheist try to speak for us. Evidence shows that theists (people who believe in a god) hate others more than any. History is full of times when Christians and other religions have killed people of other faiths, even other Christians in the case of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. Theist tend to hold the belief that if you are with them, you are against them so tend to call atheists and people of other faiths devil worshipers. You can not worship one without belief the other exists so again, this is absurd.

@Kevin. Shifting burden of proof fail. Learn some basic fallacies before you speak. Perhaps you should learn how to understand what others say. Grown ups are talking little man, you can skip this one. And you are saying you have a good expansion of evidence when you just saw it in a book, or online with words? It is the exact same as the bible. Have you ever seen it or witnessed it with your own eyes? No. I have witnessed god before I almost died with my own eyes when I was too a young pathetic little kid as an atheist.
