Anyone have some uses for roasted eggplant puree?

I have just acquired a 17 oz. jar of roasted eggplant puree. The ingredients listed are just roasted eggplant and sea salt. I love eggplant but usually slice it and fry or bake it. Is this good eaten as is? I don't want to waste this as it's a novelty item in my rural area. Any ideas?

I love it that way as pasta sauce. You can thin it out with some pasta water to get the right consistency, put red pepper flakes, fresh basil, toasted pine nuts and goat cheese on top.

if jar is sealed don't worry until you find a recipe that does it justice.

if not sealed, add any seasonings, pour onto a plastic covered cookie sheet and dehydrate in oven on lowest setting available to you. may take several hours to make the leather. peel off plastic, cut the leather into strips and store in airtight container and snack on this with crackers and summer sausage.

Make babbaganush. I probably spelled it wrong. It's a greek thing like hummus, but made with egg plant.
