My Dell desktop with xp will play CDs and DVDs, but not youtube.?
It always gives me an error message and will not play videos from youtube.
What is the problem??

You may need a flash player update. i assume you are using internet explorer for web browsing. it needs updates every so often.
to solve this, i recommend you install:
firefox
press alt in firefox>go to tools>add-ons and look for "adblock plus" . this will block youtube adds.
then head over to the adobe website and look for flash player, download and install it.

And the Dell desk tops spec's are what as to processor and graphic card ?
What browser are you using (IE ?, Fire Fox, Google) ?
Update the browsers flash player and Active X etc and download latest version of Silver Light.

Download silverlight , I think YouTube updated lately. No harm done if its not that. PH
