Republicans, what action would you applaud Obama for taking regarding the Ukraine situation?

A long chain of bad events have occurred...

1. Americans gleefully elected a man with no military experience and no desire to learn as the Commander in Chief of their military: Barack Obama.

2. A series of bad military decisions by Obama (Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya) caused leaders of aggressive nations to realize that the US is a non-entity in world military affairs.

3. Russia has decided to take Ukraine.

4. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone when China takes Taiwan and North Korea takes South Korea.

5. Obama continues in his role as the reality TV president while democracy dies all around the world.

Not much to applaud there.

No matter what the President does the Republicans always seem to find fault with his decisions. There is no pleasing them. Many have disdain for this President.

It's a little too late now.

The Ukraine Pro-Democracy protests have been going on for months. Obama responded with silence.

A deafening silence that was heard by Putin.

He could have pushed for their admission to the EU.. he remained silent.

I'm pulling for him to resolve this, but for the most part he's along for the ride. Putin wants the Crimea and he's not going to listen to Obama. But he may listen to heavy sanctions. Let's just hope it gets resolved peacefully .

Depends on what he is planning to do. I would not support US troops in action against Russians.

With regards to Obama, you cannot simultaneously stand behind the President and our country.

sorry I have tried and given Obama 6 ears to accomplish something sane and I give up.

Stop making vague threats he can't back up.

As soon as Obama drew his line all Putin had to do is invade the Ukraine and call his bluff.

Now Obsma looks weaker than if he had just kept his mouth shut.

Once again Putin has out maneuvered Obama diplomatically and made him look weak.

The idea that Obama is going to take any kind of action against Putin is pure theater.
