What Order Should I Play Pokemon Gameboy Games In?

So I downloaded an emulator and downloaded Pokemon Crystal and Pokemon Emerald, I was also going to download Red/Blue but then I thought to download Fire Red/Leaf Green instead which should I download and what order should I play these in?

    Before Crystal, play Fire red/ leaf green. The story will make a lot more sence.

    You should do:

    Fire red or leaf green

    then crystal

    then emerald

    Well for the crystal you can up the speed to like 5x but emerald is cool because of the battle frontier and then I'd do firered last because there's not much after the game =/

    since they are all almost identical games in story and gameplay, id say play newer ones.
