If you rush this before you are healed then perhaps not. I know of professional dancers who have had worse injuries and have come back after having to lay off for a year.
I know this is very frustrating. But hopefully you are in physical therapy for this as that will help things heel properly and quicker as well.
It is hard having to stop doing something you love. But this wont be forever if you do what your doctors (physical therapist) tell you. If you are foolish and rush this, then you my be out for even longer.
*There are always other auditions and opportunities out there. One audition isn't worth risking the chance of further injury where you may end up not be able to dance again.
*EDIT: The other answer is incorrect in that dance is not Rugby. You cannot just audition after not dancing for 4 weeks. They don't look for you to score goals. They will look at your dance technique. Even professional dancers cannot come back to audition cold after no classes or no dancing for weeks. You will just have to skip this one and try to remember there will be other opportunities out there when you are healed.

A dislocated knee can be anything from a slight stretch which can recover in a couple of weeks, to a total dislocation, which is a serious injury (possibly career ending) and can take months of physiotherapy.
Whatever it is, it takes rest to fix.
Stay off the knee completely and with a little luck you might be OK to audition in 4 weeks. If the people auditioning you know you've had a dislocated knee they'll allow for it.
Don't be tempted to "try it out" a week before the audition. With injuries like that rest is everything. The longer you can rest it the better chance you have of making the audition.

Take the advice of your doctor and don't start dancing again until your knee is fully recovered. Dancing/exercising too soon will hinder its recovery. There will be other auditions, sorry I know you don't want to hear that, but it is the sensible thing to do, stay off the dancing until your leg is fit and well. Good luck, and cheer up you will dance again, just not now!

I think you can get it back into place and you'll be fine. you might need to wait a while though
