please do not people give useless junk as s present if u do not even know what she likes. give her a gift card to a spa, to some store or cinema tickets vouchers. but don't give her candles or perfume she might never use - u will be hated.
and jewellery? u re that rich u can buy her diamond necklace? no? so what jewellery u re talking about? some people find it offensive to be given cheap jewellery (like me). so no cheap jewellery

why don't you just decline this invitation and volunteer to do some community service work? Much better than being at a snobbish and superficial "party". ........... and get new friends.
