Pretty much all over the board on that. Some believe in evolution, but still think God started life. Evolution doesn't address how life got started, but people still argue about it like it did address it.
Some Christians believe in a Young Earth. And of course there isn't time to evolve anything in that much time.

It's because many churches teach a young-earth literal Genesis doctrine that man was created 6000 years ago just as we are now with no evolutionary split from ape ancestors, no cave men, no Neanderthals, etc. They refuse to accept any scientific evidence to the contrary.
What they fail to understand is that evolution theory describes what happened to life AFTER it was created, and does not describe HOW it came about.
Some of us "religious people" are sufficiently educated to see that the two ideas are not necessarily incompatible.

Depends upon the religion. Pantheism, for instance, respects the glory of Nature and reality as the highest being, and so are completely appreciative of evolution.
Other traditional religions are hung up on ancient stories told before man had an understanding of evolution, and so they stubbornly hold onto the old customs, even though evolution does not in any way belittle the miracle or the glory of life.

I believe in the creation story with faith and proof too . Evolution is just wrong and if you believe in it its your thing . Anyway God created us and that's a fact!!! i know from by brain and logic. Just look at earth and think about the creator . The creator is God.
Edit . The earth is only 6000 years old and has scientific evidence by creationist to back it up.

If you believe every word in the bible literally, then you might have a problem with the Theory of Evolution along with a lot of other scientific theories.
Christianity is especially vulnerable because if there was no Adam and Eve, then there was no original sin.
Other religions such as Judaism hold up fine without taking the story of Genesis literally.

There is a lot of proof that the FSM has created everything, but not Evolution. We strive that Intelligent design by the FSM should be taught at schools for there is so much proof for the design which is intelligent.
Evolution is not true, because Intelligent design by the great FSM is true.

Evolution says that humans are just another animal species. Religions usually want to teach that humans are the result of divine creation and that humans are the center of the universe.

Certain religions only make sense to some of their adherents if their deity made all living things they way we see them now, so they (quite laughably in the eyes of everyone else, including those of their religion) attempt to refute evolution.

If evolution happened, then Adam and Eve didn't happen, and then neither did Original Sin, and no Savior or Prophet is needed, so the whole edifice falls down.
