Has anyone abused their Mathews bow?
Like trashed it, threw it, dropped it, on rocks, concrete?
I have a new zxt and I love it so much that I am scared to rough it up in the woods with me.
Its only been used for 3d at the moment but I want to take it into the abyss.
If you have abused it, has there been any issues?
I don't want to abuse it. I just want to know if it can handle a little abuse. Trees and twigs all over the place

Don't abuse it. That's a very nice bow and it will last for a very, very long time if you take care of it. Note that there's a difference between abuse and honest wear. Never abuse your bow, but always "honest wear" the **** out of it.

Abusing your bow is a good way to wind up with a face full of bow parts. You probably already know that.
I'd just suggest that you be careful, and if you drop your bow or do anything that might have damaged it, take it to an archery shop and have an expert check it out.

There is little you can do to a Matthews bow that's can't be repaired. I once sat my bow on the top of a state (4X4 stand) and knocked if off to hit a metal stake at the bottom. The entire bow came apart. Day later all fixed. Everything can break in the Abyss, and while there can not be fixed, but it will be ready for the next trip.

Why would I go out and spend hard earned money on a product and then knowingly go out and abuse it?
