What is a Bricklin in rough condition worth?

I found a Bricklin for sale online. The seller doesn't know much about the car. He even has the name and year wrong (thinks it's a kit car). It needs a lot of work like paint, one piece of glass, maybe some interior work. It's Ford powered, so it's either a '75 or '76. I can't find anyplace online that gives a value for one in this condition.Any idea what it's worth?

All depends on the condition and how much work you have to put in to it to get it running. Body ok, engine run, tires ok...problems with the car? If you have lots of money and can fix things it might be worth it. You didn't mention a price. Sounds like a "project car" to me....hope you have lots of time and money to invest. If you don't, I'd pass and go with a Stainless Steel DeLorean!! Similar car...not a kit car and parts available. They're on Ebay also. Here's your Bricklin™.

There are no sites that give the value of a car that needs work. You need to look up the value of the car in good condition and then subtract the cost of the work it needs plus something for your time and trouble in getting the work done.

They weren't very good cars, but that doesn't matter since its rare and now collectible. Find a Bricklin forum online and ask them. You need the real aficionados to tell you what it will take to find that glass and other things you may need.

Not much. Parts are going to be nearly impossible to find and even in perfect condition the car isn't very collectible.
