I'll take the definition of "Western Countries" to cover "the Anglosphere and the EU". The status of abortion is:
Banned entirely:
Malta
Vatican City
Permitted only in the event of risks to mother's health:
Andorra
Ireland
Liechtenstein
San Marino
Queensland (Australia)
Permitted in the event of risks to mother's health, rape or fetal defects:
Faroe Islands
Monaco
New Zealand
Poland
Southern Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory
Generally permitted, but the mother must give a reason such as risks to her health, rape, fetal defects or social/economic issues:
Cyprus
Finland
Iceland
United Kingdom
New South Wales & Western Australia
Everywhere else, abortion is more or less legal on request in the early stages of pregnancy. However, almost all countries only permit an abortion near the end of pregnancy if there is a severe threat to the mother's health. The later the stage of the pregnancy, the stricter the abortion laws.
Countries in Latin America are sometimes considered part of the West, and most of them have stricter abortion laws.
