12 being the worst. 13 would have been good had they used a different battle tactic. I hate when RPG'S take away from the player's control 13 did this in spades. That game didn't even have towns you could visit. Just one big linear quest. EDIT: So NSG by your logic that means that Cloud and the gang were better heroes right? I mean they actually stopped the villian from getting to his goals. Also a common misconception, Jenova is actually the main villian in FF7. Not Sephiroth. Truth is Sephiroth is a non-factor until he actually awakens at the end of the game. Jenova does everything else minus the flashbacks.

Final Fantasy 9. My all time favourite video game.

Final Fantasy VI. Kefka, the most evil villain from the series. And yes, he managed to destroy the world unlike the failed Sephiroth in FFVII...yet Kuja from FFIX also managed to destroy a world too:

13 was a good atempt, I don't see why they needed to many sequals however. The game only allowed you to roam freely towards the eand of the game (In Cocoon) which was awful. There should have been side quests etc. But I did enjoy the game, I played over 80 hours of it. I never bothered with the sequals....no thanks.

Good question. I am not sure. Really the only ones that I played are 7,8,9,10,12.

7 is great, but it is a bit over-rated.

8 was awesome, but I wish the whole damn thing wasn't about a love story. I would have really liked to learn more about the other characters, but everything was centered around saving little miss helpless.

I liked VI and IX the best.

I liked VII, and X the best.
