Minimum Cost Cash Flow?

Okay I'm studying mathematical programming course, and my professor asked me to submit a report about Minimum Cost Cash Flow, what the hell is this? and what does it have to do with my course?

I know the meaning of cash flow in economy but I don't know a minimum cost for what?

is it about inventory minimum cost or something like that?

I'm confused if you have any thoughts please share it

    Generally it's about avoiding unnecessary capital tied up in stock (yes, keeping minimum inventory) and about the cost of servicing bank loans.
