I would start with a primary doctor as well. Just a general doctor. From there depending on where the arthritis is located, they will direct you to a specialist.

A Family Practice M.D., probably could. The name of the specialist you're trying to remember is an Orthopedic Specialist. If that is diagnosed, I think there is an arthritis organization, that puts out a magazine with helpful hints and tips of how to best take care of arthritis. I'm sure you could find this group on the internet.
