Help with McDonalds job please!!!!?

I know I'm not the norm. Gonna be 33 this year, still living with the rents economy is pretty bad and not read to make the plunge, however I got the whole basement to myself and my curfew isn't till 1 AM :). I am wanting that new iphone and I need money parents said they won't pay for upgrade from 5s. Would McDonalds hire me if I only needed like a month or two of work to get my new phone? Thanks a bunch!!!!

no they won't. lots of people re unemployed and would like to get ANY JOB, and mc donalds is a good job. so I don't think anyone will hire u for a month, unless u specifically find a work place which would want some sort of a substitute only for a month

You could just work there and earn the money. Then quit after the couple of months you want to. Just don't reveal that when interviewed or hired. However, it doesn't hurt to even stay longer to get the work experience and extra earnings incase you want to buy other things for yourself in the future.

Sure, but if you quit that early, you'd be throwing away the chance for a good reference. Some one of these days, your parents won't be able to support you any longer, and you'll need a job so you can pay your own expenses. Why not step on that ladder and start climbing, now?

Do not tell them you're planning only being there for a few months. Just tell them you're looking to pick up some extra hours & maybe you should stay there longer so you can actaully afford to move out - if that's what you want.

If you only need money to buy a phone, how do you reckon to pay that bill every month?

Perhaps you should consider High School upgrading.

Why work just until you buy the iPhone, why not work more?

yes they would, but don't tell them that you only intend to be there two months.
