What do you think our own government will do?

A Philippine airline bound to Shanghai suddenly disappeared as if similar to that Mh 370 aircraft that disappeared until now. The radar tower in the Philippines cannot pick up the presence of the aircraft. What do you expect to our own government to do?

From afar, I see the Philippine government to be mature and responsible in dealing with this kind of crisis heaven forbid. I think they are even more experienced than the Malaysians as far as managing a crisis scenario. They will not do something different than what the Kuala Lumpur execs are doing other than being more circumspect and transparent in their dealings with media. I would expect them to rely heavily from the US allies in harnessing technology of civilian and military survelliance assets to search the plane at the same time provide courtesy to Chinese authorities to initiate a search being the host country and a possible crash site.

There is only so much they can do. It isn't our airspace, or one of our planes. And people of those cultures have that "saving face" thing, so they are loathe to ask for help.

They would do as they always do.

Beg the USA to come help them-------Then after we help them they will tell the US to leave

    (until next time).
