Yes, that's real persecution, unlike the whining of Western Christians who are upset that sometimes they aren't allowed to force their religion on everyone around them.

Well, obviously. *That* is actual persecution. Allowing gays to marry in the United States is not persecution; the rise of secularism here is not persecution. Whiny wingnut fundamentalist American Christians maybe need to wake up have a look at what's going on in the world if they want to see what actual persecution looks like.

Could be real persecution, but it sounds more like it's competition over land and water rights. The article doesn't give enough information. If it's real persecution, it's because of religion (in this case) - it could be, don't get me wrong, but it could be an issue where certain religions have certain areas, and they want those areas.

That's not religious persecution. That's a violent disagreement over land and water rights as the article plainly states. Just because a person is Christian doesn't mean that everything that happens to them is persecution. Sheesh! Christians and their intense desire to be martyred for their religious beliefs.....LMAO.

against it, sure. persecution, umm not unless my definition of "persecution" needs brushing up. The article says it's a dispute over land.

Killing is bad whatsoever. Whether you don't believe in religion or not, it's still bad. It's against Human Rights. Hopefully, something will happen soon.

    Of course.

But let's not forget that the main group here is called Boko Haram (trans:Western education is sinful) - they are against all things non-Islamic, not just Christians.

Yeah. This sort of thing is why a secular government is needed.
