Am I too old to go to Orlando, Fl for vacation?
My mom and I are planning are trip for the summer. Our top three choices are Atlanta, San Francisco, and Orlando. I'm a little bit nervous about going to Orlando though because we'll be there to go to Disney World and such. But I don't want to be the oldest person there or have people starring at me because last year I went to San Diego and at sea world and LEGOLAND I felt very awkward.. So please tell me your opinions! Is there a lot of teens there? Are the rides mostly for little kids? Also I want to go to the beach one day but my mom says we won't be renting a car so I was wondering is there a bus that goes from Orlando to one of the beaches and back like Dayton beach?
P.S I'm turning 16 this summer.

When I first saw your question I really thought it was some kind iof a joke. In the greater Orlando area there are about 12 theme parks - 4 at Walt Disney World. Only one park is designed for children 12 and younger, that is Legoland Florida. ALL the others are specially designed fo people of every age group. There are also seven water parks At all these parks and at any time of the day,you will see people from about 9 months (and younger) to 99 years. Many do not come for the rides and there are not that many at Disney, They come for the shows, parades, fireworks, restaurants and just walking around. You will just be fine. It is about one hour by car to the nearest beach - Cocoa Beach. I do not know of any direct transportation, but phone Mears transportation - They handle 90% of the Disney needs and certainly will give you full information 407-422-2222 or 407-699-9999. Also try http://visitorlando.com/ or http://www.allears.net/ - I presume that both you and your mother know that if you arrive by plane, Disney Magic Express will take you to any one of their resorts, completely free of charge and take you back to the airport and offer many other amenities like extra free hours at the parks.

There are people of all ages at Disney, and they all have fun. High school groups often take trips there, college students go for spring break, people go there for their honeymoon, etc. You won't look at all out of place, and you will have a good time there. There are some kiddie rides and attractions, but there are plenty of others that you will enjoy.
There is a Greyhound to Daytona (pretty sure), and there are shuttles there from the airport. But those will not be very convenient options for a day trip to the beach. You'd be better off renting a car just for that day.

You are never too old for Disney World. People of all ages go there.
The closest beach is Cocoa beach, but I'm not sure if a bus can bring you there. However, Disney has two water parks that may interest you.

I literally just left orlando yesterday from spring break. Trust me you're not too old. Me and my bestfriend (both college students) Stayed at Disney world resort and had a blast. there are so many amusement parks and things to do. We went to Magic Kingdom one day and went shopping at Orlando Premium outlets the next. We had a really good time.

How did Atlanta make that list? Orlando and San Francisco I get.
