Difference between Xbox 360 and Xbox One?

Well first off the name is different, second xbox one is the successor to the xbox 360 which means the xbox one is from the eighth generation while the xbox 360 is from the seventh generation. xbox 360 also has only 256 mb of ram while the Xbox One contains over 8gb of ram a big difference. other issue are the 360 came out in 2005 while the xbox one was release late last year.

There aren't enough games to justify buying a XB1 at this time.

The XB1 also cannot play XB360 games and most game coming our right now, are for the Xbox 360. This includes Titanfall, although the 360 version can't support as many online players as the XB1 version.

Xbox 360 games will continue to be released throughout 2014, 2015, and into 2016 with many of those not being released on the XB1.

So buy a Xb360 now and a XB1 in a year or two once its exclusive games start to arrive.

They're completely different systems with different games, they're not cross-compatible. The Xbox One is newer and therefore the graphics are better, it's also more expensive. The Xbox 360 is older and cheaper (and obsolete) but since it's been around so long there's a lot of games for it.

Of course though if you want a console with backwards compatibility then that's the PS4, which apparently can run software for all the previous Playstations too.

Personally I prefer PC gaming but if I was looking for a console then I'd choose the PS4.

No. xbox 360 games cannot be played on a xbox one. certain xbox one titles have been released for the xbox 360. But you might have to have both.

Nope. 360 games don't work on Ones.

Because the games you want would be for the One, not the 360.
