going to india, help?
I would really like to go to India, but I am alone. Does anyone know of any organization that I can help and that would help pay my visit to india, not only help in that way, but an organization that I can live with and feel safe? where to start??? who to write to? I would like to spend a month there in December maybe. How do I go about organizing this and reaching the right people??? I hope someone has an answer for me.... :/

I would think that any charity would rather spend it's money on those they are trying to assist. Unless you have some sort of unique skill that you could donate there are lots of people already there who need to feel safe.

What kind of help do you plan to offer? I support a non profit which helps rehabilitate the street children. If that fits your calling then you might contact them at www.aasara.org. If there is something else that you want to pitch in for, then state it here and someone could help.
