Are uterus and wombs two different things?

I asked a question earlier about babies growing in the stomach, but they said that they actually grow in the uterus or the womb.

But isn't a womb like an Egyptian place for dead people and mummies?

the uterus is like the vagina right? If it grows there then how come your stomach gets big and not your vagina? How does the baby eat?

The uterus and womb are the same thing. Some people don't like saying the baby is growing in the uterus so they say womb.
