How to get bigger ,stronger, faster, better?
I'm in 7th grade and I play tight end/wide receiver for my school. I am 6'2" an weigh 190lbs. I bench 125, squat 180, and run a 5.4 40. I've been working on my blocking an it has progressed, I don't blow defensive ends off the line but I can seal the outside, create running lanes and pass block ok. I am a natural hands catcher, I can make the tougher catches outside of my frame. I get my separation more from dropping my hips and making precise cuts and using head fakes and the occasional push off in the red zone instead of my speed because I'm kinda slow running a 5.4. I just wanted to know if there are some exercises that could help me get my squat/bench weight up or turn the 5.4 to a 5.3 in a matter of months because football starts back up in May.
Whatever think what you want I play I don't lie I wanted to know some exercises to get in better shape jeez. Just because I'm a big guy doesn't mean I lie.
Its really not that hard to believe I didn't say 6'6" 225 and run a 4.4 5.4 is slow im tall and my lift numbers suck

Personally, I do not believe that you need get bigger for football. Based on your height and weight, as well as your 40-yard dash time and maxes, I believe that your best fit is at tight end. Your size, especially your height, gives you the potential to become an elite tight end in football.
My best advice for you is to work hard and perform very well in practice every day. In addition, what you need to do this (and every) offseason is eat healthy, exercise by doing weight lifting, and either jogging or going for a long run every day. If you do these things, you will get faster, stronger, and into better shape, which will greatly improve your chances of becoming a successful, top notch tight end in football.
