Use synthetic division and the remainder theorem to find the indicated function value.?

f(x)=6x^3 - 2x^2 - 3x + 4; f(-4)

Could someone please help me solve this? Does it mean I am simply supposed to replace f(x) with f(-4) and solve?

Update:

This is all it says.

Hmmmm... It's not entirely clear, but it would seem you simply plug -4 in for x. Does it say to use the remainder theorem and synthetic division to evaluate f(-4)?

    f(x) = 6x^3 - 2x^2 - 3x + 4

    f(-4)

    = -384 - 32 + 12 + 4

    = -400
