What do theists think of this brand new evidence of the Big Bang?

Gravity is mostly completely unknown. one theory of the Big Bang, ( evolving expanding universe) is consistent with a very recent discovery about background microwave radiation which supports the idea of gravity waves and thus supports some version of what is known as "big bank" theory and eliminates over versions.

it is a REALLY BIG DEAL to advanced physics and will surely win one or more Nobel prizes. It still has tone confirmed by other observations and very complex mathematics.

Creationism is based on the the Q where did our universe come from? how could it come from "nothing"

the latest idea is the real universe is a Hyper universe of universe, eternal and infinite . imagine an unending beer foam in which each bubble is a universe. forming , expanding and popping !

Or maybe god likes blowing bubbles! We just do not know!

Don't believe every article you read on the Internet. The news is nice for generalities, but until I see any sort of scientific journal which proceeds to go into depth about this discovery, I will have my doubts about its accuracy.

Believe me, I'm no theist. I just wanted to point out that before you start instigating, perhaps you should present some more... well, presentable information.

I would prefer the findings be confirmed before accepting it as fact. That seems to be the case with a lot of scientific data. Things are revised so quickly it's hard to accept it as hard facts. But if it is, it in no conflicts with Genesis version of the beginning. We aren't told about how He formed it, only that "God created the heavens and the earth" and that He started with creating light. The Big Bang theory actually fits in very well with God's version of events :)

Unfortunately this one observation does not answer the literally thousands of observations that contradict the model.

Scientifically literate folks understand you must look at all the evidence not just the bits that agree with you... The Big Bang model died a long time ago.

The big bang (or a quick creation) is actually what happened. Whether it was a loud bang bang, we don't know, but certainly six days for creating everything we can see is fast. That's trillions times trillions of miracles quickly. Everything happened as God spoke it into being according to all the accounts of creation in the Bible. I suspect the noise would have broken our ear drums so I think it was a big big bang as they say.

Oh I don't know . . . it's interesting but I couldn't get the last page to load. I don't understand why so many Christians are afraid of the big bang theory. It's seriously on our side.

So.... they found the sound of Gods creative power. Saying the bang is responsible for life in the universe is like saying guns kill people, not murderers!

Then in what exposition will they believe after rejecting Allah and His signs.? Surah Jaziyah, Chapter 45, Verses 1 to 6.

Sientist says that initially the full universe was one mass the primary nebula, then there was a big bang, the secondary separation, which gave rise to galaxies. And it formed the stars and the planet in which we live.

If we ask them, where did you get all this fairy tales from? They will say NO! These are not fairy tales, these are Established Facts, we have got proof for this.I WILL SAY WHERE DID YOU LEARN THIS?

AND When did you learn all these FAIRY TALES? He says NO! These are Scientific FACTS. They are not fairy tales, we learnt it yesterday, yesterday in SCIENCE means 50 years back, may be 100 years back. Yesterday and in 1973 a couple of Scientists got the noble prize for discovering the big bang theory.

So I tell okay YOU SAY IT IS A FACT, I accept it but what do you have TO SAY ABOUT WHAT IS MENTIONED IN THE QURAN 1400 YEARS AGO, it is mentioned in Surah Al-Ambiya, Ch. No. 21, Verse No. 30…Arabic…

‘Do not the unbelievers see’ that THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WERE JOINED TOGETHER AND WE CLOVE THEM ASUNDER. My Qur’an, which was revealed 1400 years ago, there are enough historical proofs to show it was a book which was present 1400 years ago, how come my Qur’an says it speaks about your BIG BANG theory? It speaks in a nutshell. You say it was discovered yesterday, 50 years back, 100 years back, WHO COULD HAVE MENTIONED THIS IN THE QUR’AN.
