Mental health is being treated like its a cold or a flu and that pills will take away any symptoms of mental or emotional difficulties. This is a lazy way of dealing with it. Some people need medications for the likes of bipolar or schizophrenia but not everyone needs the 'happy pill' most people just don't want to confront their 'demons' and so use prescribed drugs as a quick fix for their problems.

A lot of people are being overly medicated. But then again a lot of people DO need medication, never mind what scientology has to say about this.
