Bloodthirst? Should I see a GP?

Okay, so yesterday I cut my finger and rather then just cleaning it I sucked the blood out of the wound until no more came out. I have obviously had blood in my mouth before but never intentionally and it actually tasted really nice for me but it's a one off. I'm not going to start cutting myself or anyone else but I'm really worried since all day my mouth has been watering whenever I see my own or other people's blood vessels through their skin.

Update:

@Alexandria -_- I'm not a vampire.

Update 2:

@John Twilight is terrible.

Update 3:

@The Ice-Cold, Hoe Slappin', Ni*Ga Thank you for giving an answer albeit a short one.

Update 4:

@PhoenixRingsUnited No i haven't had been hit in the head or anything like that. I talked to my friends about it but in response they made jokes that i'm going to eat them which made me say wtf several times. But thanks, I'll go see a doctor tomorrow.

Update 5:

@Meow Thank you very much for such a thorough answer. I didn't think myself a vampire at all, I was just responding to people who accused me of being so.

    you might want to got GP and discuss this i was reading a story one day how people can start wanting to drink blood, so they drink pig blood and find people to donate or something. (psychological)

    you might be low in minerals? blood taste like salty metal and apparently has a lot of nutrients

    1. your not a vampire there is no such thing but there is a disease. (physical and mental)

    i do that sometimes my self but is stop the bleeding when i dont have a band aid and it soothing

  • You should prevent your self from doing it again at all costs! See a doctor he can probably help. Did you get hit in the head recently or a concussion lately? It could have change the way you taste or think about things. Ask a doctor or tell someone about it.
