Jack Russell Blue Heeler Cross?
After many years I believe I have found out that my Jack Russell is a cross with a Blue Heeler.
I bought her as a Jack Russell as a pup and it wasn't until she got older that all her spots started coming out. Guess I got duped there.
She looks more like a Jack Russell than a Blue Heeler and I know quite a bit about Jack Russells as I also own a pure breed Jack Russell but I know nothing about the Blue Heeler breed and can't seem to find much on the internet about the breed as a cross.
My girl doesn't have many typical Jack Russell traits so I would really like to know more about the Blue Heeler temperament etc which would probably explain a lot about her.
Can anyone help me with more information on this particular cross breed please or on Blue Heelers.

I haven't known a dog of that cross, but I would imagine it's a pistol. I've had Heelers for many years and they are intelligent, loyal, energetic, protective and funny companions. They have strong herding instincts such as biting heels and watching anything that moves. They are independent and strong willed, of course Terriers are too. Here are some pics of ACD (Heeler) and JRT mixes:

Photo? Look up Australian Cattle Dog,that's what a blue heeler is. They would likely be very energetic dogs.

Meet Lizzie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3yeA8s1i4U Blue heeler/jack russell terrorist cross. The two busiest breeds of dog on earth, in one twenty five lb. package. You weren't duped. You got lucky. Protective, bossy, dominant, smart. Nuclear fusion in fur. Herd my friends, then dig a hole to bury them in. No squirrel is safe. Lizzie happens to be SAR trained because keeping her busy keeps her out of mischief.

What does it matter if anyone else does? Mutts are unpredictable and even if I had a mutt of the same cross there is no guarantee that it will look, act, or even be even remotely similar to your litter of mongrels. Hopefully you will be getting the mother spayed soon to avoid yet another litter of mutts/ poorly bred JRTs from being pumped into the world to crowd shelters.

I have one named Honey. She is not hyper. She always stays right next to me and seems to know what I am going to do before I do it. She is very protective of my son and my cat. She picks up tricks right away like she already knows them. She isn't overbearing and will not give kisses unless asked. She is my first dog and my best friend. When I am sad, she knows. She won't leave my side. Best dog ever
